Overview
Type VWRS series vibrating wire steel bar meter, also known as rebar strain gauges, is a sensor installed on the concrete stressed steel bar to monitor the stress of the steel bar. Mainly used in geotechnical engineering fields such as bridges, tunnels, buildings, slopes, hydraulic engineering, etc., usually buried in various types of building foundations, diaphragm walls, tunnel linings, bridges, slopes, piers, docks, gates and other concrete engineering structures, Measuring reinforcement or anchor stress in concrete internal structures. The installation adopts butt welding, threaded connection and other installation methods, and the installation of supporting accessories can form a bolt dynamometer, a bedrock stress gauge, etc
The vibrating wire wire rebar strain gauge is mainly composed of coil, steel string and stressed steel body, as shown in the figure below. When stress occurs, the stressed steel body of the vibrating wire wire rebar strain gauge generates strain and transmits it to the steel string, causing the stress of the steel string to change, and the natural frequency changes accordingly. The measuring instrument excites the steel string through the coil and detects the frequency of the signal induced by the coil. After conversion, the vibrating wire load force reinforcement meter of the tested structure is obtained. It is a vibrating wire sensor for measuring the stress of the steel bar or anchor rod, anchor bolt dynamometer and bedrock stress meter can be composed of additional accessories.
