Vertical In-Place Inclinometer

The vertical in-place inclinometer is mainly used to measure the internal lateral movement of structures, such as landslides that may occur on unstable slopes or the lateral movement of surrounding earth in foundation pits, and is lateral deformation of dams, shafts, tunnel walls, caissons, piles and sheet piles, dams and roadway embankments. The inclinometer utilization of high-precision MEMS uniaxial/biaxial tilt sensor which adopts the principle of differential measurement, noise compensation technology and temperature compensation technology to ensure the high precision and resolution of the sensor.
Overview
Generally, in the structural engineering that needs to be monitored, an inclinometer pipe will be installed in the soil before the project starts, or installed in the concrete structure, buried under the slope, etc. The inclinometer tube usually has 4 orthogonal grooves to pass through the small pulley on the inclinometer rod of the guide wheel fixed inclinometer. To measure moorings, platforms, buildings and bridges, directly fix the probe on the measured point. When foundation pits, slopes, foundations, bridges and buildings are deformed or the ship’s mooring platform is tilted, the inclinometer probe will be tilted accordingly, and the lateral displacement or inclination can be accurately measured. Installing multiple inclinometers in the tube can make it accurately monitor the lateral deformation of structures.
