Vibrating Wire Load Cells

MAS-VWLC series vibrating wire anchor cable meter is mainly used for monitoring the stress change of anchor cable/bolt in geotechnical engineering, civil construction structure and underground cavern. Anchor cable meter adopts imported high-quality steel string, advanced manufacturing and installation methods and fully waterproof sealing structure, with high sensitivity, high reliability and long-term stability.

Overview

The model VWLC series vibrating wire load cells is designed primarily for use on tiebacks and rock bolts in geotechnical engineering, civil engineering structures and underground caverns, and particularly where long-term monitoring is required. They may also be used during pile load tests and for monitoring loads in struts, tunnel supports, etc. In practically all cases, the load cells are used in conjunction with bearing plates positioned on either side of the load cell. It consists 3 to 6 vibrating wire sensors in the hollow pressure-bearing cylinder of the load cells to eliminate the influence of uneven or eccentric loads. When the measured load acts on the load cells, it will cause the deformation of the elastic cylinder and transmit it to the steel string, which will be transformed into the deformation of the steel string. Use the vibrating wire acquisition instrument to measure and read the frequency value of the sensor, and then transfer to the load value acting on the load cells.
