Optoelectronic Deflection Meter

The model ODM optoelectronic deflection meter is a long-distance non-contact 2D displacement measurement instrument. It utilizes an embedded system platform and a low-light COMS image sensor,combining advanced optoelectronic measurement algorithms to achieve high displacement measuring accuracy. It can perform real-time two-dimensional measurements with high measurement accuracy, a wide measurement range, compact size, high integration, and easy installation,among other characteristics. It's suitable for long-term, online, and multi-point automatic 2D displacement monitoring of structure for bridge,building, steel structures etc,.
Overview
The principle of optoelectronic deflection measurement is based on the installation of a target reflector (typically an infrared reflector) at the measurement location and creation of an optical marker point (marker) on the target. An optical system images this marker point onto a CCD receiving array. When the structures undergoes deflection or displacement, the target reflector moves accordingly. By measuring the change in the imaging position of the marker point on the CCD receiving array, the actual deflection or displacement of the structures can be calculated. This non-contact measurement method offers many advantages, including reduced interference and damage to the structure and the provision of high-precision measurement results.
